Employer Can't Be Held Liable in Tort for Doctor's Assault on Nurse, Court Rules

A Kentucky appellate court ruled that a nurse who was assaulted by a doctor could not hold her employer liable for this incident in tort, but it upheld the jury's award of $40,000 in damages against the doctor.
