Crawford and Co., an international claims management firm, saw its net income shrink by more than half during the first quarter of 2015.
The company's net income in the first three months of the year was $3 million, compared with $6.7 million during the same span last year, according to a Thursday press release. Its operating earnings across all segments of business dropped 23.9% from $14.1 million to $10.7 million.
Broadspire, the company's third-party administration subsidiary, grew its operating earnings 76.6% from $2 million to $3.5 million.
