A New York appellate court ruled that a carrier's ongoing payment of permanent partial disability benefits to a worker who had suffered two compensable accidents during the course of his employment with the carrier's insured didn't bar the carrier from transferring liability for the older claim to the Special Fund for Reopened Cases.
