Senate leaders in Illinois announced Wednesday the formation of a special committee to study and recommend by Jan. 3 ways to reform the state's workers' compensation system.The committee will "begin work immediately" according to a press release issued jointly by Senate President John Cullerton, D-Chicago, and Minority Leader Christine Radongo, R-Lemont.
