The New York State Workers' Compensation Board has temporarily suspended a New York City doctor who was accused of inappropriately prescribing controlled substances.
Dr. Eric Jay Wilck's authorization to treat injured workers within the New York State workers' compensation system was suspended effective Dec. 24, WCB said in a notice. The suspension remains in effect until further notice.
Wilck's last known business address is Mount Sinai Medical Center, 1 Gustave Levy Place, in New York City. Mount Sinai Health Care’s website lists Wilck as a radiologist.
