The maximum benefit rate for people injured on or after July 1 increased 4.2%, to $987.84, from $948.15, according to the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation.
The division increased the maximum benefit by the same amount as the increase in the state’s average weekly wage.
The division also announced that the maximum limit for disfigurement increased, to $5,229.68, while the maximum payment for extensive scars or the loss of a limb increased, to $10,457.52.
