Rules Regulating Managed Care Organizations Proposed for Readoption

The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance is proposing the readoption of rules pertaining to workers’ compensation managed care organizations. The proposal, which involves mostly cosmetic tweaks, also includes a new rule that would reduce the non-refundable application fees paid by MCOs from $3,000 to $1,500. The rules fall under New Jersey Administrative Code 11:6 and expired May 18.
