The Orange County District Attorney has refiled charges against Kareem Ahmed, president and chief executive officer of Landmark Medical Management, in a case alleging more than $100 million in workers’ compensation fraud and a baby’s wrongful death.
An appellate court judge in March threw out all but one count in the original case against Ahmed, saying prosecutors had overreached and charged more than the grand jury had alleged.
