Legislation that the Assembly Insurance Committee passed Wednesday is intended to facilitate ongoing discussions among users of California’s workers’ compensation system about how best to provide timely and appropriate medical care to injured workers, according to its author.
Assemblyman Kansen Chu, D-Milpitas, characterized AB 1107 as a vehicle for “stakeholder discussion on delivering medical care to injured workers in a more efficient manner.”
