New York horse trainers will have to pay $1.50 per stall per day and the percentage of purses allocated for workers' compensation expenses will increase to 1% from 0.95% in order to pay for an increase in workers' compensation premiums charged by New York State Insurance Fund, according to a report by the Daily Racing Form.
