At the direction of Oregon Gov. Kate Brown, the state’s Management Labor Advisory Council will discuss how the state’s workers’ compensation system is responding to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Brown, in a letter to the advisory panel, asked that it assess “problems or gaps in the workers’ compensation system relative to the COVID-19 outbreak — including an analysis of and recommendation for a COVID-19 presumption.”
MLAC will meet from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday to hear a report on COVID-19 claims and to review the governor’s request.
