The California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery has scheduled a webinar to discuss the impact of the lien provisions in a bill currently awaiting the signature of Gov. Jerry Brown.
If the governor signs SB 1160, by Sen. Tony Mendoza, D-Artesia, or allows the bill to become law without his signature, holders of liens already on file will have to submit a declaration stating under penalty of perjury that they are authorized to file a lien.
