Author of Formulary Bill Leaves Assembly for PhRMA

The author of a bill ordering the Division of Workers' Compensation to adopt a prescription drug formulary left the California state Assembly effective Dec. 31 to work as a policy advisor for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, according to media reports. Assemblyman Henry Perea, D-Fresno, announced in December that he would not serve the final year of his term in office.
