A seasonal federal employee who forged documents and claimed that her parents' home was a physical therapy center has been convicted of mail fraud in a workers' compensation investigation.
Paula Klaustermeier, 53, of Belleville, Illinois, was injured in 1998 and collected wage replacement and medical benefits through the federal Office of Workers' Compensation Programs, according to a bulletin from the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of Illinois.
