A federal judge on Tuesday postponed until next summer the sentencing hearing for Michael D. Drobot, who pleaded guilty last year to conspiring to defraud a federal health care program and admitted to bribing a California state senator.
U.S. District Judge Josephine L. Staton ordered sentencing to be rescheduled from Oct. 2 to June 17, 2016. She ruled only one day after the U.S. Attorney's Office and attorneys for Drobot filed a stipulation asking the federal court for Central California to delay the hearing.
