Landscaper Pleads Guilty to 2nd Offense, Failed to Carry WC

A Monterey County contractor pleaded guilty Thursday to one felony count of fraudulent use of a contractor’s license and one misdemeanor count of failing to secure workers’ compensation insurance, District Attorney Dean D. Flippo's office said. Jose Valdez, age 41, of Seaside, was doing business as Angel Valdez Landscaping.
