The California Thoroughbred Business League on Tuesday raced to approve a $2 million subsidy that will be paid to an insurance group covering workers’ compensation benefits for the state’s trainers, according to a news release.
The $2 million will go to Post Time Self Insurance Group and will come from the Thoroughbred Business League’s reserves, according to Thoroughbred Owners of California.
