The Louisiana Supreme Court disbarred an attorney with a long history of disciplinary actions for mishandling six workers’ compensation matters. William K. Hawkins was admitted to the practice of law in Louisiana in 1988. In 2008, he was suspended from the practice of law for one year, fully deferred, subject to one year of unsupervised probation for having mishandled client and third-party funds.
