Employee's Electrocution Prompts $63,000 in OSHA Penalties against Warehouse

The electrocution of an employee at a New Jersey warehouse prompted the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration to issue 10 citations and propose $63,000 in penalties. According to a report by NJ.com, 48-year-old Pedro Vincent-Diaz Villafuerte was found lying on the floor next to a conveyer belt at the warehouse, with no pulse. Emergency medical workers revived Villafuerte. He was flown to St. Barnabas Medical Center and treated for several days before being released, according to the report.
