More states are joining a licensure compact allowing physical therapists to obtain privileges to practice outside of their home state, a process that may make it easier for therapists to provide telerehab services.
In Virginia, Senate Bill 1106, which allows the state to join the Physical Therapy Licensure Compact, was signed into law by the governor last month. Arkansas last month enacted a similar measure, House Bill 1421.
