The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation is accepting comments on proposed changes to the form used by nonsubscriber employers to report workplace injuries and diseases.
DWC Form-007, “Employer’s Report of Noncovered Employee’s Occupational Injury or Disease,” allows businesses that have elected to forgo carrying workers’ compensation insurance to satisfy the requirement to report injuries resulting in more than one day off work and occupational diseases.
The division said the revisions update the forms to meet the agency’s new standards.
