Pasadena Attorney Killed in Plane Crash

Norman F. Boxley, a Southern California workers' compensation attorney who ran his own firm before joining Floyd, Skeren and Kelly, was killed last Friday afternoon when his single-engine airplane crashed in Pomona.Boxley's plane crashed on the horse racing track of the Pomona Fairplex southeast of the Brackett Airfield, according to media reports. Boxley, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene.The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin reported on Tuesday that Pamela Boxley, Norman's wife, said she believes he was attempting to make an emergency landing at the time of the accident.
