Questions, Concerns Linger About Proposed Formulary Rules

California workers' comp professionals have a number of questions and concerns they’re hoping the Division of Workers’ Compensation will address before it puts in place a drug formulary at the start of 2018. Some users are urging the DWC to use unique drug identifiers such as National Drug Codes that would be tied to reimbursement rates to close loopholes allowing providers to avoid price controls.
