State Compensation Insurance Fund is holding a free seminar to tech California employers how to implement mandatory illness and injury prevention programs.
The half-day class will cover what employers need to do to create and put into effect prevention programs that comply with Cal-OSHA requirements. The carrier said the training session in October will have a special emphasis on heat illness protection.
The seminar is from 1-5 p.m. Oct. 25 at State Fund’s office, 10 River Park Place East, in Fresno.
Pre-registration is required, and the deadline to register is Oct. 19.
