South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is appointing the son of a former governor, who ran unsuccessfully earlier this year for the lieutenant governor's post, as a workers' compensation commissioner, according to a report by the Greenville News.
The newspaper said Haley nominated business development consultant Mike Campbell to the commission. The position pays $116,000 a year. The appointment must be confirmed by the state Senate.
