Concentra, U.S. HealthWorks Merger Moves Closer to Reality

The Federal Trade Commission has granted early termination of a waiting period applicable to the proposed merger of Concentra Group Holdings LLC and U.S. HealthWorks Inc., a subsidiary of Dignity Health Holdings Co. The waiting period is a provision of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, the two companies said in a news release on Friday.
