Court Ruling, New Forms: LLC Members Now Covered Unless They Opt Out

Form follows function, as the adage goes. Or, in this case, forms follow a state Supreme Court ruling. Three months after the Connecticut high court held that a 2003 memo erroneously claimed sole members of limited liability corporations had to opt in to comp coverage, the Workers' Compensation Commission revised a pair of forms for LLC members to opt out.
