Lawmakers in Washington state approved a bill that would create a presumption that COVID-19 is an occupational condition for frontline employees.
The Senate on Wednesday voted 32-16 to approve amendments to Senate Bill 5115, by Sen. Karen Keiser, D-Des Moines, that were made while the measure was in the state House of Representatives.
