Worker's 12-Foot Fall Carries differing Penalties

After a temporary worker fell 12 feet off a roof and was hospitalized in Houston in January, the company running the worksite was liable for more federal citations and penalties than the firm that supplied the worker. The temporary worker was with Gardia Construction, but was laboring at a site run by Cotton Commercial in Houston, according to a statement from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
