The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation has increased the amount of gross payroll for employers that hire seasonal workers to determine if those employees are subject to the Workers' Compensation Act.
The adjusted annual payroll increased 0.78% to $54,783 from $54,359. That amount was determined to be the inflation rate by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
