The Wisconsin Assembly passed a bill that would increase benefits, clarify case closure responsibilities and modify uninsured employer fund processes and rules for advanced payment of permanent partial disability.
The Assembly on Thursday voted 96-1 to pass AB 1073, by the Assembly Committee on Labor and Integrated Employment.
The bill would increase the maximum weekly permanent partial disability benefit to $438 from $430 and to $446 for injuries occurring on or after Jan. 1, 2025.
