A health care and disability fund for New York City taxi drivers has $1.4 million in the bank, but it can’t be dispensed yet because an agreement with a fund administrator hasn’t been approved yet by city attorneys.The Taxi & Limousine Commission voted in 2012 to allow the fund to supplement health insurance and workers’ compensation for injured cabbies.
