The Arkansas Supreme Court ruled that a school janitor is entitled to compensation for injuries he suffered while unlocking a parking lot gate as he returned from his lunch break.The high court based its decision upon the reasoning that the janitor, Ronnie Conner, was acting in the interest of his employer at the time of his injury in Texarkana School Dist. v. Conner, No. 07-1068, 5/8/08.
