Vehicle Part Manufacturer Cited for Amputation Hazards

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing $43,000 in penalties against an Illinois manufacturer for exposing workers to amputation hazards. OSHA said March inspections of McLaughlin Body Co. plants in Rock Island and East Moline, Illinois, resulted in citations for nine serious violations.
