The Oregon Workers' Compensation Division confirmed that a group tasked with drafting rules to implement legislation exempting self-insured school districts from security deposit requirements will meet Aug. 27.
The division earlier in July announced a tentative meeting date for the security deposit rulemaking group.
The group will discuss rules to implement Senate Bill 904, which adds school districts to the list of self-insured employers that can be exempted from posting a security deposit.
The bill takes effect Jan. 1.
The rulemaking committee meets from 2:30-4 p.m. Aug. 27.
