Janitor and Oil-Rig Worker to Serve Time on Fraud Charges

Two Ventura County, Calif., men were sentenced to jail and prison this week on charges of workers' compensation fraud and also ordered to pay restitution, the Ventura County District Attorney's Office announced. Jose Arellano Vasquez, 56, of Oxnard, was sentenced to 180 days in jail Thursday after his conviction of one felony count of workers' compensation fraud and one felony count of perjury, the Ventura County District Attorney's Office announced.
