Murdered Social Workers' Employer Fined for Failing to Have adequate Safety Measures

An administrative law judge found that the employer of a 24-year-old social worker failed to protect her from workplace violence that eventually led to her murder, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.  Stephanie Ross was murdered in December 2012 after being stabbed multiple times on the street with a butcher knife by one of her patients, Lucious Smith.
