Two Monterey County men have pleaded no contest to charges that they ran a private security guard business without having workers’ compensation insurance.
Angel Musones, 51, of Salinas, and Navid Homami, 45, of Monterey, entered their pleas on Wednesday, the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Their business, Mile High Security LLC, had as many as eight employed guards but did not have workers’ compensation insurance, a misdemeanor violation of Labor Code section 3700.5, prosecutors said.
