The Missouri Court of Appeals this week ruled that a lineman who suffered a serious electrical shock while working in Texas more than 20 years ago wasn't time-barred from seeking additional benefits in Missouri from his former employer. In deciding an issue of first impression, the court said the failure of Daniel Small's employer to file a report of injury in Missouri extended the amount of time he had to file his claim to three years, instead of two, after his employer's last payment of benefits.
