Lump-Sum Bill Heading to Governor's Desk

A bill that would clarify requirements for work comp carriers and self-insured employers to make lump-sum payments of permanent partial disability benefits is heading to the desk of Oregon’s governor. The Senate on Tuesday voted 28-0 to pass House Bill 2802, a bill with no chief sponsor that Gov. Tina Kotek requested on behalf of the Department of Consumer and Business Services.
