The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau submitted to the California Department of Insurance a special regulatory filing proposing changes to address the COVID-19 pandemic.
Claims arising directly from a diagnosis of COVID-19 with an accident date on or after Dec. 1, 2019, would be excluded from the experience rating of individual employers, under one of the changes proposed in the filing submitted Monday.
