WCS Announces Change in Rating Process

Rating physicians and chiropractors will be assigned randomly and not via rotation starting Jan. 1, the Nevada Workers’ Compensation Section announced. WCS said ratings will be assigned based on where the injured worker lives. The agency will divide the state into three geographic regions as follows: Northern Nevada, which includes Carson City and Churchill, Lyon, Mineral, Storey and Washoe counties.
