CWCI: Claim Volume, Paid and Incurred Losses Down for Public Self-Insureds

The California Workers’ Compensation Institute said initial data for the fiscal year ending in June shows decreases in total claim volume, incurred losses and paid losses. A sharp drop in indemnity claims drove the 16.8% decrease in total claim volume, CWCI said in its assessment of data released by the state Office of Self-Insurance Plans.
