Max Benefit Increasing 6.3%

The maximum weekly benefit for injuries occurring on or after Jan. 1 will increase by 6.3%, the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court announced. The maximum weekly benefit will increase to $1,094 from $1,029.  The minimum weekly benefit remains unchanged at $49. The maximum benefit rate equals 100% of Nebraska’s average weekly wage.
