DWC Halts Plans to Move Austin Office to Temporary Location

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation on Wednesday announced that it will not relocate the Austin field office to a temporary location pending construction of a new agency building. The DWC on Monday said the Austin office would move to the Hobby building on Guadalupe Street, effective July 18. The division reversed its position Wednesday, saying it would stay put at its current location throughout the summer.
