TMI to Host Three-Day WC Fraud Conference

Texas Mutual Insurance Co. will host a three-day workers' compensation fraud conference in October. The Oct. 21-23 conference in Austin will feature talks and presentations from investigators, insurance executives, regulators and attorneys, the company announced this week. The keynote speaker will be Joe Koenig, certified fraud examiner and author of books on deception and on D.B. Cooper, the man who hijacked an airliner in 1971 then parachuted with thousands of dollars in cash.
