Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon signed into law a bill that’s projected to return about $16.4 million to 2019 policyholders in good standing with the Workers’ Compensation Division.
Gordon on Tuesday enacted SF 89, by Sen. Eli Bebout, R-Riverton, which would order the Department of Workforce Services to establish a credit for employers that would be equal to one month of premiums. The credit would become effective Aug. 1 and can be used for any premium reporting period from July 1 through Dec. 31. Unused credits will expire Jan. 31, 2021.
