WCD Proposes Changes to Medical Fee and Payment Rules

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division is proposing changes to rules governing medical fees and payments, medical services and interpreter services. The rules would adopt new medical billing codes and Current Procedural Terminology codes and descriptors published by the American Medical Association. Maximum allowable payments would increase by 2%, or $250,365 per year, under changes to the fee schedule for durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies.
