Jackman Named to Interim Previsor Leadership Post

The Previsor Insurance board of directors named Tim Jackman interim president and CEO, a role in which he will oversee the carrier’s operations that include service agreements with Missouri Employers Mutual.

Jackman will also maintain responsibility at MEM for advancing automation and operational efficiency in the claims and customer service departments.

Previsor contracts with Missouri Employers Mutual to provide coverage for businesses that have exposure in Missouri and at least one of the Previsor states: Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Tennessee.

Jackman has also served as senior vice president of operational services for Missouri Employers Mutual, having direct accountability for customer service, safety and risk services, claims and legal, and helping set corporate strategy. He joined the carrier in 1995 as general claims manager and became a member of the executive team as vice president of claims in 1997.

At MEM, Jackman led the formation of a captive law firm to represent MEM policyholders, along with reorganization of a managed care program aimed at getting injured workers back on the job.

Before joining MEM, Jackman worked for 14 years with Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., serving in various positions in multiline claims management.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Central Methodist University in Fayette.

Previsor is a wholly owned and independently managed investment of Missouri Employers Mutual.
