Nine Cited for Safety Hazards at luxury Housing Complex

Nine companies in Florida were cited by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for a series of violations that total over $152,200 in fines combined, according to a release from the administration.  Contractors at the luxury housing complex, Oasis Park Square, were cited for not protecting workers from falls from up to 35 feet, improper usage of a ladder, failing to ensure workers wore eye protection and not installing handrails.  The general contractor for the job site, Shoma Alliance Management, was issued three serious citations exposing workers to fall hazards and no...
